These are the Official Rules for the Lighthouse Federal Credit Union (“LIGHTHOUSE CREDIT UNION”) or (“Sponsor”) 2026 Nice Catch – Shining a Light on Kind Kids Initiative (“Promotion” or “Nice Catch Promotion”).

NO PURCHASE OR ACCOUNT OPENING IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. MAKING A PURCHASE OR OPENING AN ACCOUNT WITH LIGHTHOUSE CREDIT UNION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING. PROMOTION IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.  

Purpose

Lighthouse Credit Union believes that at the heart of every community there are good people doing great things. Lighthouse Credit Union has partnered with the Portland Sea Dogs to create the Nice Catch – Shining a Light on Kind Kids Initiative to recognize and celebrate kids who consistently demonstrate compassion, empathy, and kindness toward their peers, teachers, coaches, families, and other community members and who go above and beyond to make our communities a brighter and kinder place.

If you are a teacher, coach, youth leader, parent, family, or community member, we need your help. Lighthouse Credit Union is seeking nominations for kids, ages 17 and under, who are working hard in their communities to show compassion, empathy, and kindness towards others. We encourage you to submit your nomination for a Kind Kid you know who is dedicated to showing kindness in their daily lives.

Nomination Period

Nominations will be accepted from April 20, 2026, at 12:00 AM Eastern Time (ET) to May 29, 2026, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time (ET) (the “Nomination Period”).

Nomination/Entry Guidelines

Anyone nominating a Kind Kid (17 and under) for the Nice Catch Promotion must be 18 years or older and have permission from the child’s parent or legal guardian. No purchase or account opening is necessary to enter or win. Internet access and submission of the nomination are the only requirements to enter. Nominations must be submitted at www.lighthousecu.org/nice-catch during the Nomination Period. Employees of Lighthouse Credit Union, their immediate family members, and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to enter the Promotion.

Submissions must be original and must align with the positive image and goodwill to which the Sponsor wishes to associate. Submissions not in compliance with these guidelines will be disqualified at the Sponsor’s discretion. Lighthouse Credit Union reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or violating the Official Rules.

Eligibility of Nominees (Kids)

The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States who, at the time of nomination, are ages 17 and under.

Eligibility to Nominate (Entrants)

All entrants must be natural persons at least 18 years of age and a legal resident of the 50 United States. No entries from business entities are accepted.

Promotion is void where prohibited by law.

How to Enter/Nominate a Kind Kid

Entries will be accepted at www.lighthousecu.org/nice-catch during the Nomination Period, which runs from April 20, 2026 through May 29, 2026.

Your online nomination represents and warrants that you have obtained permission from the nominee’s parent or legal guardian for the nominee to participate in the Nice Catch Promotion. You also consent to Lighthouse Credit Union’s collection, use, and disclosure of your name, address, and other information for the purpose of administering this Promotion.

Nomination alone does not constitute permission for participation; written consent from a parent or legal guardian is required before any prize participation, recognition, or publicity. If the nominee is selected as a winner, we must obtain a Participant Information and Photo Release Form (“Declaration Form”) from a parent or legal guardian for them to participate.

All contest entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.

The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, corrupted, illegible, incomplete, misdirected, or otherwise incorrect entries due to technical, administrative, or human error.

If the Promotion is canceled for any reason, the Sponsor may select a winner from among all eligible entries received prior to cancellation. Entrants agree to comply with all applicable laws and these Official Rules.

Judging Criteria

Entries will be reviewed anonymously and judged by a committee of Lighthouse Credit Union employees (“Committee”) between June 1, 2026, and June 12, 2026. The Committee will utilize a grading rubric to score each eligible entry.  The top six (6) highest scores will be selected during the judging period to be a Grand Prize Winner.  Eligible entries will be judged based on:

• Examples that demonstrate consistent acts of genuine kindness and empathy.
• A description of how the nominee positively impacts and makes others feel.
• Detailed examples of how the nominee’s actions and attitude make their school, team, or community better.
• An explanation of why the nominee should be selected as a Grand Prize Winner.

Nominations that are detailed and descriptive are more likely (but not guaranteed) to score higher and have a greater chance of winning.

Odds of Winning

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Grand Prize Winners

There will be six (6) Grand Prize Winners selected during the judging period. Each Grand Prize Winner will be assigned to a game at the Sponsor’s discretion. Available games are across dates in June, July and August 2026. Each winner will receive a special “Nice Catch” package. Winners can request a specific game; however, Lighthouse Credit Union will make final decisions on the game dates the winner will receive. 

Selected game dates:

June 20, 2026 – Saturday at 6pm Game: DC Comics Night

July 19, 2026 – Sunday at 1pm Game: Ice Cream/Maine Dairy Day

August 19, 2026 – Wednesday at 6pm Game: Lighthouse Appreciation Day

Grand Prize Winner “Nice Catch” package includes:

• Tickets to a Portland Sea Dogs game with nine (9) friends or family members.
• Throw one of the Ceremonial First Pitches.
• Video recognition during the game on the Jumbotron, social media which may include Facebook, LinkedIn Instagram, Twitter/X, and/or TikTok.
• Goodie Bag courtesy of Lighthouse Credit Union and the Portland Sea Dogs.

Grand Prize Conditions

• The Grand Prize is experiential in nature and does not have a determinable approximate retail value; any value may vary by game date. It is non-transferable, and no substitutions or cash redemptions are permitted, except at Sponsor’s discretion as described below.
• The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize that it determines, in its sole discretion, to be of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable.
• The Grand Prize must be accepted as awarded, and Lighthouse Credit Union is not responsible for any loss, damage, or malfunction.
• All Grand Prizes will be provided to the Winner’s parent or legal guardian.

Notifying Grand Prize Winners

Selected Grand Prize Winners of the Nice Catch Promotion will be notified no later than June 14, 2026 using the email address or phone number provided in the nominator’s entry form. Tickets will be available for pickup at the Will-Call Window at Delta Dental Park on the day of the assigned game. The Grand Prize Winner’s parent or legal guardian will be responsible for providing proper identification to receive the tickets.

Each potential Grand Prize Winner’s legal guardian will be required to sign and return a Declaration Form, which must be received within five (5) business days of notification. If a selected Grand Prize Winner cannot be reached, is ineligible, fails to claim their prize, or does not return the completed Declaration Form, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.

Taxes

Grand Prize Winners are only eligible to receive one (1) prize per calendar year. The parent or legal guardian of each Grand Prize Winner is solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes, as well as any reporting requirements. The Sponsor may issue a Form 1099-MISC if required by law.

Prize delivery will be made in 2026.

Applicable Law

Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Promotion will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. By entering and/or accepting a Grand Prize, you knowingly and voluntarily consent to the application of New Hampshire law to any such dispute.

Limitation of Liability

By entering the Promotion, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Lighthouse Credit Union and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

• Entry or participation in the Promotion
• Acceptance or use of the prize
• Any technical or human errors affecting the Promotion.

The Sponsor makes no warranties regarding the prize, and it is awarded “as-is.”
