The Bank Insurance and Securities Association (BISA) has appointed Northeast Credit Union’s VP of Wealth Management, John Olerio to serve as President of its Board of Directors for a two-year term. BISA is the leading financial services industry association dedicated to serving those responsible for the marketing, sales and distribution of securities, insurance, and other financial products and advisory services through the credit union and bank channels.
John’s 30 years of experience in banking and financial services, with experience in wealth management, private banking, trust administration, financial planning, and investment management made him a strong candidate to lead the association’s Board of Directors as President.
John has sat on BISA’s Board of Directors for over five years and was recently appointed to President by the BISA board’s executive committee. As President, John will oversee the Board of Directors, its executive committee and the strategic planning for the association in addition to leading the Wealth Management division at Northeast Credit Union.
