Northeast Is Working To Keep Your Information Safe
December 15, 2021
Keeping your personal information safe and secure is our top priority. The Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) recently released an alert regarding a significant vulnerability in a widely used software program called Log4j. We want you to know our team at Northeast Credit Union is aware of this threat, and we have taken immediate action to prevent exposure of your data.
After conducting a comprehensive, initial review of our systems, we have found no evidence that any of Northeast Credit Union’s records have been compromised in any way. Please know that we are continuing to work with our vendors and IT partners to ensure we are taking every mitigation step possible, and that we have assigned an internal team of cybersecurity experts to monitor our systems on a 24-hour basis until we are assured no threats remain.
More information from CISA can be found on their website at https://www.cisa.gov/uscert/apache-log4j-vulnerability-guidance.
