Merrimack Hawks Give Back
The Merrimack Hawks Cheer Organization is a local, non-profit competitive cheer group for girls and boys ages 5-16. In an effort to promote kindness, the organization created a community-based group called HawksCares which allows the cheerleaders in the organization to volunteer and make a difference in their community.
The organization began only three years ago, and they’ve already done some wonderful things for their communities. Check it out!
- Earth Day cleanups around Merrimack
- Supply drives for local schools
- Backpack and coat drives to help Nashua Soup Kitchen
- Written Santa Letters to benefit Make-A-Wish
- Participated in Great Strides benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
- Volunteered at Blizzard Blast for The United Way
- Clothing Drive for The Pass Along Project
- Decorated and filled duffel bags for Together We Rise
- COVID-19 goodie deliveries to the Merrimack Police and Fire Departments
- Made COVID caring cards for the seniors and staff at Pleasant View Center
Keep up the good work! We’re excited to see what other amazing good deeds they do to make our communities a better and kinder place to live.
