DOVER, N.H. – Lighthouse Credit Union recently demonstrated its commitment to community impact by mobilizing its entire workforce for a company-wide Day of Service, with nearly 400 employees volunteering at more than 25 nonprofit organizations across its footprint to include NH and ME.
To make the day possible, Lighthouse team members were redirected into local communities to support organizations focused on affordable housing, food security, education, veterans services, and community development.
Throughout the day, employees rolled up their sleeves to complete a wide range of hands-on projects, including meal preparation, landscaping, painting, organizing community spaces, reading with students, deep cleaning facilities, and assisting with affordable housing and homebuilding efforts.

It’s a powerful reminder that when we work together, we can help strengthen the communities we work and live in.”
Volunteer efforts supported nonprofit organizations throughout the region, including Chase Home for Children, Operation Blessing, Hero Pups, Our Place NH, New Generation, Cross Roads House, Monarch School, Rochester Fellowship Kitchen, Seacoast and Concord Family Promise, My Friend’s Place, Berlin Community Fridge Fair Tide, York County Head Start, Habitat for Humanity affiliates, food pantries, schools, and other community organizations.
The Day of Service reflects Lighthouse’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and its belief that creating stronger communities requires both financial support and hands-on involvement. Through volunteerism and partnerships with local nonprofits, Lighthouse continues to invest in initiatives that supports its mission of enriching and nourishing the lives of others.
