Lighthouse Credit Union Makes History as First-Ever Credit Union to Win a Webby Award

Recognition Spotlights Creative Collaboration and Digital Excellence
Dover, NH — April 24, 2025 — Lighthouse Credit Union, in partnership with creative agency Anchour, has won the prestigious “People’s Voice” Webby Award in the Websites and Mobile Sites: Financial Services & Banking category. This marks a historic achievement as the first credit union to ever receive a Webby.
Voted on by the public, the award recognizes their standout digital innovation and creative partnership, and places Lighthouse Credit Union in unique company. Past winners in the category include Bloomberg, Apple Wallet, TurboTax, PayPal, and Betterment.
The Webby Awards, hailed by The New York Times as “the internet’s highest honor,” are presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), honoring the best websites, video, advertising, media, and more. This year’s competition drew over 3.5 million votes across nearly 13,000 entries from more than 70 countries — with Lighthouse Credit Union emerging as a top public favorite.
