Northeast Credit Union believes at the heart of every community are good people doing great things. That’s why Northeast CU has partnered with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats and the Portland Sea Dogs to host their fourth annual “Nice Catch – Celebrating Kind Kids” initiative. Nice Catch was created to recognize New Hampshire and Maine kids who consistently demonstrate compassion, empathy and kindness toward their peers, teachers, coaches, family and other community members and go above and beyond to make our communities kinder and brighter places.
“Every year we are amazed by the stories we receive from teachers, family, and peers about the kind kids in their lives” said Northeast Credit Union President and CEO Timothy J. Collia. “Spotlighting these kids who continuously go above and beyond to put others before themselves and celebrating them is an honor for us to be a part of.”
Twelve Grand Prize winners were selected this summer from submitted nominations. Winners were invited to attend a New Hampshire Fisher Cats or Portland Sea Dogs baseball game this summer, had their kindness story shared on the Jumbotron as well as on social media and received gift bags from the team and Northeast Credit Union.
