Braydon Volunteers to Help People in Need

Inspired by his kind heart, 12-year-old Braydon Place is being recognized because he has volunteered many weekends to help those in need in his community. Be it making beds for kids that didn’t have a place to sleep, helping at York Harbor Fest, in the kid zone at the town of Eliot’s Festival Day, and House of Hope soup kitchen, he is always volunteering his time. All of his teachers appreciate the help he provides daily to others with projects or schoolwork. His giving spirit was first recognized at the early age of 5 while he helped fellow kids at daycare, and he has only grown through the years. His father, who nominated Braydon says, “He truly is an inspiration to all – young and old. I am nothing but proud of this young man.” Congratulations, Braydon.

Braydon’s selflessness and positive impact on his community is why he was selected as a 2023 Nice Catch Kind Kid.
