Before & After Home Contest Winner

Everyone has that one place in their home that they want to update or redo. Maybe it’s a bathroom that is a little too pink or a kitchen that has seen better days. So, we asked you, our members, to show us your dream renovations!

Throughout the month of January 2021, contestants completed a questionnaire on our website and included their outdated and most needed home improvement for a chance to win $1,000 toward their dream renovation.

We received over 200 submissions… and believe us, we wish we could have awarded everyone! Once the submission deadline closed, the top five contestants moved to a public vote faceoff! They were encouraged to rally friends, family, and the entire internet to vote for their submission until February 26th 2021. It was a close race, but we were excited to announce the winner on March 1st 2021.

The winner of the Home Equity Contest with 469 votes (and 44% of all the votes!) was Chantel McCrossin.

When we asked Chantel what she planned to do with the winnings, she thanked everyone, stating “my husband and I have been DIY renovating our house room-by-room and this money will certainly be put to good use in replacing some fixtures in our stripped out bathroom.”

Congratulations Chantel for receiving the most votes and having the most photogenic renovation assistant. We cannot wait to see what you do with the space!
