Good Morning,

I am writing to you today to provide insight and perspective following the news throughout the banking industry over the last few days. First and foremost, it’s important to assure you that Northeast Credit Union is a stable and reliable institution that you can trust now and in the future.

We are proud to say that Northeast Credit Union is financially sound, well-diversified, and has ample liquidity. Additionally, we undergo periodic audits by our State regulators in New Hampshire and Maine, and the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) to review the safety and soundness of the credit union.

As the second-largest credit union in New Hampshire, we have proudly served our communities over 86 years. We have a business model and investment strategy that allows us to navigate any unexpected events, whether local, regional, national, or global. Rest assured that from that first checking account to retirement plans and everything in between, we will continue to be here for you, and all the moments that matter most.

As we have shared with you in recent communications, we have spent the past year and a half reflecting on the future of our organization and the impact we want to make. We believe our purpose in this world is more significant than just offering a great banking experience, and in 2022, we launched our new mission to enrich and nourish the lives of others: our members, our team, and the communities we serve. As we have for so many years, we are proud to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. Our goal is simple: to see you and our communities thrive.
