Making an Impact

Supporting our neighbors is central to Lighthouse’s mission. That’s why each of our branch locations are donating $1,000 to local food pantries to help our communities provide support to those in need.

  1. Advertised 0% Annual Percentage Rate (APR) Government Shutdown Loan is available for Federal government employees whose income has been negatively impacted by the government shutdown. Eligibility is subject to verification, and offer may change or be cancelled at any time. APR is fixed and will not change after loan consummation. Maximum loan amount of $3,000.00 with a sixty (60) day first payment deferral and maximum repayment term of six (6) months. A $3,000 loan at 0% APR with a sixty (60) day first payment deferral and six (6) monthly payments would result in an estimated monthly payment of $500. Applicants must work with a Lighthouse Credit Union representative to complete an application in a branch location or over the phone; online applications are not eligible for this product. One (1) 0% APR Government Shutdown Loan permitted per member. First payment automatically deferred for sixty (60) days. All loans are subject to credit approval. Must be or become a member of Lighthouse Credit Union by maintaining at least $5 in a Lighthouse Savings account.
  2. Please contact us for additional details. You may be asked to provide evidence confirming eligibility. Members may not have any charged-off accounts with Lighthouse Credit Union to be eligible. Payment deferral eligibility excludes mortgages, any equity loan or credit cards, or closed-end equities.
